Chief Executive Officer
Stacy Rhone is the Chief Executive Officer of Big Opp Zone, bringing experience as an entrepreneur, civil engineer, and public servant. An Austin native, she holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of North Texas and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. She made history as the first African American woman hired in the Highway Design and Construction Division of the Texas Department of Transportation and now leads Big Opp Zone’s community-focused development and value-creation efforts.

Mary Veazie serves as Chief Financial Officer of Big Opp Zone, overseeing accounting operations, regulatory compliance, financial modeling, and project budgets. A Certified Public Accountant with more than 30 years of experience in accounting and financial management, she supports strategic planning and informed decision-making across land development initiatives while ensuring fiduciary responsibility to stakeholders and investors. Mary holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and an MBA from the University of Houston–Victoria.

Stephanie Douglass serves as Chief Strategy Officer of Big Opp Zone, bringing extensive experience as an entrepreneur and business leader. She is the founder of The Historic Cotton Exchange, a live music bistro and art gallery, and The Trois Estate, an acclaimed event venue that has hosted more than 200 weddings, corporate gatherings, and launch events. Stephanie holds a B.A. in Management from George Washington University and uses her strategic expertise to advance Big Opp Zone’s long-term vision, growth initiatives, and commitment to empowering others.
